About Catherine
I have most recently and currently been working with middle school students grades 6-8 both general education and special education students. I have been teaching for twenty + years in a classroom setting, in small groups, in students' homes. I specialize in social studies (history), special education, and English as a second language.

I try to adapt to the student's needs. Every individual has different needs and requires a different approach. I customize the lesson to the child. I would approach a child with autism differently than I would approach a general education student. I keep an open dialog with the parents.
