About Emily

I currently work at Trent University as a coop coordinator for the science degrees, working towards my Masters in Education! My real passion though, is teaching through and through. I have special education specializations so hope to reach a wide range of learners, but I also learn so much from my students each day. It’s a two way street, teacher/ tutor and student!
On the side though, I love playing soccer for 27+ years so far, but I will play any sport you put in front of me. I may have taught, but I coached even more! I love to paint, I have a major in theatre arts and I have the most lovable golden retriever, Sonny, who is my soul animal!

About the lesson

It’s more than just learning the subject, it’s learning about YOU! Learning your interests and infusing them into your learning. It means that much more when your learning relates to you and you become more invested when it has your interests infused! You’ll become excited to come tutor with me as I come from a wealth of knowledge, experience and resources from my 8+ years as an educator in the school board! Come learn with me, I’m excited to program and learn alongside you!

I am a special education educator previously teaching with the school board!
