About Ricardo

I graduated from Dartmouth College in 2021, majoring in electrical and computer engineering. During my time in college, I tutored and acted as a teachers assistant for multiple programming classes, specializing in C. Currently I am an Embedded Systems Engineering Manager, working on maintaining and improving the coding architecture for an embedded device. My passion is C programming, and over the last 8 years I have acted as a learner, a teacher, and a professional.

About the lesson

Programming can be hard and frustrating! But it doesn’t have to be! I like to explain complex topics through the use of practice problems and visual aids, and personalize my lessons as I get to know your individual needs! For example, a common topic that is difficult for new learners is Linked Lists. Here is how I would typically approach this topic:
1. Introductions - What is a linked list?
2. Motivation - Why use linked lists?
3. Visual Aids - How is it being stored in memory?
4. Application -Simple application of linked lists
5. Practice -I’ll provide a harder problem, that ensures understanding
