Esil has been a piano teacher for many years. She received her bachelor's in piano performance from UNC Chapel Hill before completing a master's degree in speech-language pathology at Northwestern University.
As a neurodiversity-affirming speech therapist, Esil brings that approach into her piano lessons, making them fun while supporting communication along the way. Each lesson is tailored to the student's interests and adapts as they progress. Students will learn basic music theory concepts, and lessons also target general musicianship skills.

Lessons are offered in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions. Esil will recommend the best lesson length during the 30-minute trial lesson. Students can meet twice a week for 30 minutes, or once a week for 45 minutes or 1 hour.
