About Richard
1st Class Honours Classicist, 2016 graduate from St Andrews -- I was top of my year and won the annual Latin Prize. I can help you to excel with a fun, friendly, and rigorous approach.
If you're committed to excelling at Classics from the very beginning of your degree studies, some prep of grammar, unseen text, and literary criticism will put you in the best possible position to nail your assessments and exams, and might leave you with a bit more time for the other pursuits of fresh undergraduates...
I am also delighted to tutor younger Classicists sitting their GCSEs or A-levels. I have a strong familiarity with the set texts on Latin and Ancient Greek papers by all the examining boards and know the requirements of the examiners well. Even a few sessions could put you on a sure path to that A*.
I have three years' teaching experience and am equally comfortable tutoring Latin and Greek.
