About KYOKO

- I was born and raised in Aichi prefecture and have lived in Yokohama and Tokyo.
- Before coming to Melbourne, I gained professional experience in Tokyo across a variety of fields, including food import/export, international PR, travel, and retail.
- I like cooking (especially Japanese food), traveling (been to 20+ countries), playing futsal, hiking, embroidery, and karaoke (love anime songs).
- People who know me often describe me as thoughtful, responsible, cheerful, and friendly.
- I’m currently completing a 420-hour Japanese teacher training course, where I’m deepening my understanding of Japanese grammar and language teaching.

About the lesson

Here is how I can support you in our lessons:
- Japanese Characters: We’ll learn Hiragana, Katakana, and essential Kanji step-by-step. Additionally, I can guide you through proper handwriting and stroke orders upon request!
- Practical Vocabulary & Grammar: We’ll build a solid foundation with everyday words and sentence structures for real-life situations, making grammar simple and easy to understand using insights from my teacher training.
- Building Your Confidence: Don’t worry about making mistakes at all. This is a completely safe, relaxed, and fun space where you can learn at your own comfortable pace.

These are just examples and I will customise each lesson to your specific needs.

In our trial session, we’ll do a friendly 45-minute consultation to chat about your goals and see where you’d like to start.
