About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya. I am a passionate chemistry educator, a recent B.S. Chemistry graduate from Xavier University of Louisiana, and an active scientific researcher. My deep academic foundation is paired with advanced graduate-level chemistry experience giving me a unique, high-level understanding of how chemical principles apply to medicine and real-world science.

Xavier University is renowned for producing top-tier science graduates, and I bring that same rigorous training and hands-on research insight to our tutoring sessions. Having personally conducted scientific research and navigated advanced pharmacy coursework, I do not just teach chemistry from a textbook—I understand how it works in the lab. I translate this real-world expertise into clear, high-impact strategies specifically designed to help AP Chemistry students master complex concepts, ace their exams, and build strong foundations for future science careers.
