About Maria
I am an enthusiastic A level student with a strong passion for English, having achieved a grade 9 in English literature and a grade 8 in language, I understand how challenging GCSE English can feel, and I want to help students become more confident in their abilities and achieve the grades they want. I’m patient and approachable and happy to adapt my teaching to each student’s individual needs. I’d love to use my own experience and knowledge to help GCSE students reach their goals and achieve the grades they’re capable of.

I offer friendly, supportive 1 hour GCSE Literature and Language lessons, tailored to each student's needs and confidence level. I can share the techniques and exam strategies that helped me achieve these results. I have experience teaching younger children through being an assistant to private art lessons and helping my younger sibling with homework, which has developed my patience and ability to explain ideas clearly. Lessons are suitable for GCSE students, whether they need help building confidence, understanding texts, improving essay technique, or preparing for exams. I aim to make lessons engaging while helping students make clear progress.
