About Shafaq
I'm a Master's student who enjoys teaching as a favorite side job. I value responsibility and aim to provide valuable insights in everything I do. In past volunteering experiences, I've worked closely with young children, helping them nurture and develop their skills. Quick to grasp concepts, I believe in going with the flow, but I always plan around what interests me while staying true to my core values. Despite my busy study schedule, I try to take some time to cook a meal for myself and keep my surroundings clean to remain self-motivated.

As a former pre-engineering student, I bring a strong foundation in Additional Mathematics and related concepts. My teaching approach is centered on simplifying difficult topics through practical examples, ensuring that students grasp the core concepts. For math, I strongly emphasize practice, as I believe hands-on problem-solving is key to mastering the subject. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible by breaking down difficult topics into simpler, easily understandable explanations.

I had the pleasure of being taught by Ms. Shafaq instruction for Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics in my mid school. Her teaching style made complex subjects easy to understand through examples, and she always tailored her approach to suit different learning styles. Her dedication, patience, and deep knowledge helped me excel in these subjects and develop critical thinking skills. I highly recommend her as a tutor for anyone seeking clear, effective, and engaging instruction.
