About Dawn
Throughout my childhood, my teachers were always impressed with my writing skills. By the time that I was in the first grade, I was already reading at a seventh grade reading level and writing using advanced techniques such as ellipses. I have been writing since the day that I could hold a pencil and fell in love with creating stories and writing for class. While I am not an English major, I have a lot of experience with tutoring. When I was a teenager, I would tutor my classmates on their sentence structures and grammar. I also have had poems published in books along with short non-fiction stories that I have written.

I have over 14 years of experience with writing both as a hobby and in a professional setting. I have a great deal of experience with writing essays, books, research papers, and more. I have a lot of unique methods on how to brainstorm writing ideas, learn new and more advanced vocabulary, and sentence structure. My lessons are best geared towards children ages 10-18. I have lesson plans from beginner, intermediate, advanced, and pre-college.
