About Katelyn
At my college (I am a junior) I major in literary studies and creative writing. I have taken many writing classes that have pushed me and my writing to go much further. I work at the writing center and tutor many different people with many different assignments, ranging from research essays to creative storytelling.

These sessions are for high school or college students. Although, I can also teach younger, elementary, kids how to read and write.
I teach people what a good thesis should have, and also how to structure an essay. We will go through what you do have and slowly pick apart your essay. If you just have an idea, we can go through the steps of how to build your essay based on what type of writer you are.
I can also show you how to properly cite your sources, something that no one likes to do (I will make it easy)!
With young kids we will practice reading together, and I will have them read things out loud. We will also play word games like Boggle!
