About Catarina
I am a second-year Management student at NOVA SBE, with an academic record marked by excellence. I finished high school with an average grade of 18.7, having achieved a 19 in mathematics. Now I am strengthening this foundation in higher education, in subjects such as Calculus and Calculus II. I am very patient and can easily adapt my teaching methods to the needs and ways of thinking of each student. I am extremely understanding and believe that no question is "basic" or a reason for judgment. Often, it's just a matter of finding a different way of explaining for everything to make sense. I genuinely enjoy teaching and, above all, helping students who feel lost or insecure to gain confidence and realize that they are capable of reaching the answer on their own.

My priority during classes is to create a relaxed environment where doubts and mistakes are not feared. As a student, I have been in the role countless times of a student who doesn't understand a concept at first and gets frustrated. Therefore, my teaching method involves patiently identifying existing difficulties, explaining the content in a simple and clear way, and solving exercises together. I believe that it is crucial to have work outside of class for a better consolidation of the contents, so I am always available to answer any questions that arise during study.
