About Maya

Hi! I’m a student at Surrey Maths School who loves tackling hard problem solving questions and finding different ways to approach maths questions.

Having recently sat my GCSE exams I am familiar with concepts students might need help with and with my passion for the subject, I would love to help others understand and like maths.

Outside of school I like playing tennis and piano while hanging out with friends

About the lesson

I believe maths is a subject you have to understand, not memorise and my lessons will be tailored to each individual to help go through past mistakes and understand the core concepts as opposed to memorising methods.
Having recently sat exams myself I am familiar with the content students may need help with and will be friendly and patient, adapting lessons for each student and making sessions as interactive as possible.
