About Shea
I am a San Diego State University student and am currently studying Foods and Nutrition with a minor in Japanese. I love to read and write. I remember being terrified of public speaking when I was younger, and I hope to help students grow their writing, speaking, and reading skills but also to help them gain confidence and no longer be afraid to express themselves.

I have always loved to read and have expanded my knowledge in language and writing through my schooling and self-teaching. I love to help my students find their own voice in their writing and reach their full potential as writers and speakers. I focus on open suggestions within my teaching, not pushing my own voice onto students but guiding them to find the best way to clearly and accurately express themselves through English. These lessons are for high school students and below looking for help with reading, speaking, or writing, whether needing help with a specific assignment or with a class in general.
