About Ciera

Welcome! I firmly believe that everyone can excel in mathematics with the right guidance and approach. I am here to support you every step of the way, providing clear explanations, and personalized assistance. I am a senior in high school taking college classes at Queens College. I have aced all high school math classes as well as Calc 141 and 142 in college. I am in the National Honor Society where I offered my tutoring services as well. My educational journey has equipped me with a profound understanding of the subject matter, and I am eager to share that knowledge with you. I have successfully guided numerous students through their mathematical challenges, witnessing them not only succeed but also develop a genuine appreciation for the beauty of mathematics.Your education is a priority, and I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism throughout our interactions. Our sessions will be structured, engaging, and tailored to your unique learning style.

About the lesson

My teaching method centers on fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts rather than promoting rote memorization. I believe in a personalized approach, tailoring my techniques to accommodate individual learning styles. Visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive problem-solving are integral components of my sessions to make abstract mathematical ideas more tangible and relatable.

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of the previous material to reinforce understanding. I then introduce the new concept, breaking it down into digestible segments. We engage in collaborative problem-solving, ensuring students actively participate in applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. The session concludes with a summary and discussion of any lingering questions, promoting a comprehensive understanding of the topic.

My distinguishing factor lies in my ability to connect with students on a personal level and adapt my teaching style to their unique needs. I emphasize open communication, creating a comfortable environment for students to express difficulties and ask questions without hesitation.
