About Ruby
I have always been passionate about psychology. I received an A* in all of my psychology assessments in sixth form, including the final A-Level Exam. I was also the subject ambassador, so I have experience teaching revision techniques to other students and reassuring them (and you) that psychology can be fun to learn. Additionally, I received an A* in biology and an A in chemistry at A-Level, so I can help tackle all different aspects of psychology, including helping you understand the science behind it.

I understand that tutoring sessions can be scary so we will collaborate together and work at a productive pace that is comfortable for you. A typical lesson will last an hour and is completely tailored to you. Please arrive with a topic you’re struggling with and we will tackle it together. Towards the end of your lesson, we will work through exam questions to apply your knowledge. Whether you’re having tutoring lessons for a small assessment or for your final A-Level, you’re guaranteed to improve and to have a good time too! I will also provide flashcards that you can use outside of the tutoring session which will be really helpful for your revision!

I would highly recommend Ruby as a tutor.
Last year she supported me during my mock exams for psychology and thanks to her help I went up two grades. Ruby is a very patient tutor and explained things in a way I understood and she often used diagrams to support my learning as I am a visual learner. She also helped me create my revision resources in a way that suited my learning style.
Overall Ruby is an incredible friendly and supportive tutor and anyone who uses her skills would be lucky to have her!!Phenomenal tutoring. Very professional, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend, changes the way you look at psychology. Changed an E psychology grade to a B, great tutor.
I can’t recommend Ruby more than enough. Honestly saved my grade in Psychology. With the help from Ruby I went from achieving consistent Cs to achieving an A* in my actual A level exam. If you are struggling with A level Psychology or need a bit of extra support, Ruby is definitely the person I would recommend to help you out!!
