About Elise
I am Elise and I study Criminology at the University of York; however, I got accepted as an English student. I do believe that the exam-style testing is poor because not everyone can have their abilities measured in that way. I will be here to help those students who struggle with content and exam stress. I have a big interest in English and Classical Civilisations and hope to help others also become interested like I am. If the student struggles to take interest, then I want to help them pass their exam so they can forget about academic English and maybe consider English as a recreational activity.

I really care about students getting the grade they want in their desired subject. It is important to entice interest in the subject, so I will model my lessons on the students based on their weaknesses, strengths, and personal interests. I will make my lessons challenging but within the scope of the student’s abilities as I have assessed.
