About Paulina
I have worked with children ages 3-14 in multiple capacities throughout the last four years. From 2017-2019, I worked as a summer camp counselor for the Magik Children's Theater in San Antonio, teaching and assisting theater classes in the 3-5, 5-7, and 8-11 age groups. Additionally, during the 2019-2020 school year, I volunteered as a mentor to 4th and 5th grade students, providing tutoring assistance in Language Arts and Social Studies classes. As an in-class mentor, I gained experience working with elementary students struggling with spelling, grammar, and reading comprehension, and provided tutoring assistance to struggling students on assignments including essay writing, book reports, reading assignments, spelling and grammar worksheets, and social studies presentations.

I have the most tutoring experience working with older elementary students (4th and 5th grade specifically), but I have also worked in childcare and children's theater productions with students between the ages of 3-14. The majority of my tutoring assistance so far has been working with students who are struggling with their skills in reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, and writing. I have always been a strong writer, and would be happy to assist students with school assignments relating to language arts, reading, and social studies.
