About Belén

I am a born and bred Madrileña. Since birth I was brought up speaking Spanish and English, so I am bilingual in the two. After my appreciation for languages expanded as I got older, I began intensively studying French at the age of 10. The time between then and now, has allowed me to build great proficiency within this language. Alongside knowing these languages, I have also lived in all three, for a minimum of 2 years each which meant it was a necessity.

About the lesson

As a language tutor in Spanish, English, and French, I employ an immersive teaching method that emphasises practical communication skills. Through interactive techniques such as role-playing and discussions, I ensure students actively engage with the language, as I value the skills being applied. My lesson plans are structured with a blend of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural insights for a comprehensive learning experience. What sets me apart is my personalised approach, tailoring lessons to each student's proficiency level, learning style, and specific goals. Whether it's beginners or advanced learners, my lessons cater to diverse needs, fostering a deep understanding of language and cultural nuances.

I know Belen as she was a fellow student of mine whilst studying at University. Whilst studying together, I took private lessons with Belen as I really wanted to learn Spanish. I flew through the lessons much quicker than anticipated. Belen really nailed the basics early on and taught how applicable this all was in more complex cases.

I would highly recommend Belen for any level of aspiring learner as she is very caring and understanding, which shouldn't undermine her extreme knowledge of languages.
