About Maia
I am an enthusiastic language learner who spent 2 months in boarding school in Normandy during Transition Year. I then studied for the DELF B2 exam independently later on in TY, and did work experience in the Alliance Française. I participated in French debating throughout Senior Cycle, and now that I have more time on my hands I want to help others. I understand that embarking on learning a language can be overwhelming, especially for exam students, so my aim is to take away some of the stress and uncertainty.

I recently finished the leaving cert so I am very familiar with exam techniques and can provide exam focused support through conversation classes, written notes and composition tips. As well as this for non-exam students I am passionate about helping others learn French in a practical and interactive way. 30-60 minute lessons can be tailored to the student's individual goals and learning needs. Lessons ideal for those at a beginner or intermediate level. I have a B2 DELF certification (fluent language level/ independent user), therefore lessons not suited for those above this level.
