About Henry

I am an International Baccelaureate student graduating from the American International School of Johannesburg in may of 2022. I have excelled in IB math AA HL and IB physics.
I have helped my peers in math and physics, and proof read and advised on several of my colleagues IB core essays. I have enjoyed helping other students and watching them improved.

About the lesson

A lesson begins with determining a sepecific focus for tutoring. The lesson then caters to this, for example, physics exam prep would include working through practice problems, breaking down model answers, and advice on studying methods such as mind maps. If the student has particular issues they want to address would focus on explaining the theory behind the topic, then we would work through example problems until the student grasps both the theoretical understanding, and the practical application in an exam.

Henry is deeply knowledgeable in physics and other engineering-related fields. He has given me in-depth feedback on my STEM-related essays and is constantly helping me solve problems in maths and physics. His teaching style is great because he always helps me reason out the problem from first principles, making sure that I truly understand the solution rather than memorising problem-solving algorithms. I Would highly recommend.

Henry is extremely knowledgeable and committed to helping students with their academic work. Personally, Henry has helped me check out two extremely important academic papers, writing many comments and giving good feedback for what I need to do to improve. Not only does Henry help you turn in your best possible academic papers he also helps me out with hard to grasp concepts in subjects such as math and physics.
