About Amalia
I have always been passionate about working with children and helping out my peers, as I simply just adore seeing children develop, not only academically, but also socially, and I find teaching my peers to be not only effective for them, but revision for me. I migrated here when I was 6 years old, therefore I had to learn how to speak English (I only spoke Greek & Albanian), from this I remember the methods my teachers and parents used to teach me, and this makes me passionate in ensuring other children learn effectively and succeed too! In school, I have done multiple sets of mocks in which I have excelled (grades 8s & 9s in Year 10 and 11)!

I will aim my lessons more towards primary school children/early high school, who may struggle to grasp the basics of these STEM subjects. I will approach these lessons with an open mindset, ensuring I remember that not all children learn the same. I plan to remain in close contact with parents, constantly fulfilling what they think their children need, as well as communication from the children themselves. I have been working with children for a long time, learning to be patient and calm around them, as well as helpful and considerate of their needs and wants. The lessons can be anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour.
