About Arousha
My name is Arousha and I am currently a student in year 8. In my perspective, being a Year 8 tutor means supporting students at an important stage where they are growing academically and personally. I believe a Year 8 tutor should be patient, encouraging, and understanding, because students at this age are still building confidence and independence. It is important to explain lessons clearly and adjust teaching methods to suit different learning styles. I also think a good tutor listens carefully to students’ concerns and motivates them to stay focused and organized. From my point of view, a Year 8 tutor is not just there to help with schoolwork, but also to guide students in developing responsibility, resilience, and belief in their own abilities.

In my perspective, being a tutor means having the responsibility to guide and support students in a way that helps them truly understand what they are learning. I believe a good tutor must be patient, understanding, and adaptable, because every student learns differently and at their own pace. It is important to have strong communication skills so that I can explain difficult concepts in simple and clear ways. I also think being a tutor requires empathy and encouragement, since students often need confidence as much as they need academic help. From my point of view, tutoring is not just about teaching subjects, but about helping students grow, become independent learners, and believe in their own abilities.
