About Philip
I am a well-liked and highly-acclaimed primary school teacher. I love working with children whatever their needs, aims, likes or motivations; in fact, building that rapport with a child is the first thing I seek to do; once this is in place, the foundations are there to build a flourishing learning journey. I can teach any subject in the primary curriculum. If you wish to be pushed and extended - I can do it. If you have the need to catch up - I can do it. With over 13 years of experience teaching in primary schools in England and France, I bring a dynamic and engaging approach to tutoring that combines expertise with creativity. My online lessons are interactive and carefully structured to capture children’s attention while developing essential skills. I use open questioning techniques to spark curiosity and encourage children to think more deeply, fostering independence and critical thinking. I am known for my warm, caring, and approachable personality, which allows me to create a supportive learning environment where children feel safe to make mistakes, share ideas, and grow as learners.
