About Jeanell
I am a current MFA student at Emerson College and have been writing and reading my entire life. I fell in love with literature in my elementary school English class and have done everything I can to revolve my adult life around it. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in English Literature from SUNY Brockport. I am currently working on my thesis and writing for the book blog company Bookstr.

I believe that writing and literature can shape our lives, and it takes one really memorable teacher to set you up for excellence. I meet the students where they are and try to determine the best way forward, utilizing their strengths and weaknesses to create lesson plans that not only support the material but also foster the students' learning. No student should feel left out or bad about not being able to meet standards created by people who have not been students for a very long time. My lessons are for those looking for extra help at all levels and those who may struggle in a typical classroom setting.
