About Veryan
I've run a sustainable fashion label for the last 10 years, doing everything from making custom designs for clients and producing large runs in-house and working with manufacturers to develop samples and product runs. I release regular collections for my own label, Veryan Studio, and run an online shop. I love to share what I know and to help people discover their love and passion for sewing. Being able to make your own clothes and accessories is very fulfilling and it's a pleasure to help people reach their goals! I tutor people from absolute beginners to more advanced students looking to sell their own designs.

Hello! I'm Veryan, and I've been working as a sustainable fashion designer and maker for over 10 years. Your lessons will be tailored to your needs, whether you're an absolute beginner or working on designs ready to manufacture. When we first meet, we'll discuss exactly what you'd love to achieve from the lessons and will plan out your sessions. Here are some examples of what I can help you with: -if you've never used a sewing machine before, we can run through the set up and start a simple sewing project of your choice - how to take your measurements, fit a toile and tailor patterns to your size - complex construction techniques, from pockets to seam work and anything in between - how to create your own pattern from scratch, choose fabrics and finishes - hand sewing techniques I'd love to hear from you and help you get started on your next sewing project!

Our first session will be a FREE online video call where we'll discuss your needs and set up a plan for your future sessions. Lessons are held at my studio in Thameside Studios London. If you would prefer to have lessons at your own home, there's an extra charge of £40 per session.
