About Glenn
Quiet patience defines my approach after 13 years spent refining the craft of string performance. Years of orchestral life taught me that active listening serves as the foundation for every technical breakthrough. I guide students through the complexities of spiccato and staccato bowing while ensuring pitch accuracy through ear training.
My studio welcomes those preparing for ABRSM or Trinity exams who desire a disciplined path forward. Tuning by ear remains a core requirement for all my pupils regardless of their current stage. Clarity remains the final goal for every note played.

Focusing on bow distribution requires a keen eye for subtle physical adjustments during our time together. My Juilliard background informs how I dismantle difficult passages into manageable exercises for 13 years.
Short, sharp drills build the muscle memory necessary for fluid performance. Technical precision demands consistent effort throughout our 10 minutes of dedicated warm-up work each meeting. I keep the environment calm to encourage deep concentration on string contact. You will find a steady rhythm that favors steady growth over hurried progress.
