Hello! I'm Laura, and I'm a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan. I've found that learning a new language is a long (I have been learning Japanese) but incredibly rewarding journey. As your tutor, I will not only guide you through the process but also share insights into Taiwanese culture, making your learning experience fun and effective.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach centers on communicative language teaching, using real-world scenarios to make Mandarin practical and engaging. Lessons are structured to include warm-ups, new material, and active application through dialogue and role-play. I cater to all levels, from beginners to intermediate learners, and use my Taiwanese background to offer a comprehensive understanding of the language and culture. Mandarin can be represented by two different writing systems: Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
