About Alankar
Hi, I'm Alankar! I'm originally from India and moved to Milan to pursue a master's in HPC Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Before this, I completed a dual degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at BITS Pilani, and worked in the industry at companies like Uber, Deloitte, and JuliaHub, where I dealt with data pipelines and scientific computing. Math has always been my strongest subject, and I enjoy explaining it in a way that actually makes sense, rather than just walking through formulas. I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in a subject that often intimidates people. I'm looking forward to sharing that with you

I teach math with a focus on building strong fundamentals rather than memorization, breaking down complex concepts into simple, intuitive steps. My classes are structured around understanding the 'why' behind each method, followed by practice problems to reinforce the concept. Having studied Mathematics and Computer Science at BITS Pilani and now pursuing a master's in HPC Engineering at PoliMi, I bring both academic rigor and a problem-solving mindset to teaching. I'm patient, adapt my pace to each student, and I'm happy to teach school-level, high school, and university-level math.
