About Alaina
For 7 years, I have tutored people in mathematics from elementary math through precalculus. During this time two of my students needed help passing a content exam for college and both of those students passed. When you work with me, we will set your goals and achieve them. I believe that there is always a different approach that can be taken in order to meet a goal.

Lessons with me are typically four phases.
1. Talking about interests
2. Narrowing down problem points
3. Connecting the dots
4. Quick quizzing
What sets me a part from other tutors is that I utilize students interests to help them to better understand the mathematical material.

Alaina helped me pass my Basic Skills Content Exam. I was struggling with remembering and understanding the math concepts, so I sought her advice. Within 30 minutes, I had gone from not having a clue to feeling confident enough to pass my practice test. She quickly figured out what I was struggling with and used wrestling analogies to help me better understand the math. I highly recommend Alaina!
