I teach English Language and Literature at Key Stage 3 and 4 (GCSE) levels. I teach the AQA specification. I have taught the following texts at GCSE level: 'The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde', 'An Inspector Calls', 'A Christmas Carol', 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Macbeth', 'Power and Conflict' anthology poetry and unseen poetry. A typical lesson would last for approximately 1 hour. However, this is flexible depending on the needs of the student.

Perfect! My son has been having lessons with David and has really enjoyed them. David keeps my son engaged and on track which is something that he struggles with. I would recommend David to anyone!
- I have had three good lessons so far. We have explored language analysis, structural analysis and comparative poetry on the AQA GCSE specification. Onwards and upwards!David's response :

I am very pleased with the progress my son made in English GCSE with David. He went up by two grades thanks to Davids excellent teaching, patience and encouragement. Highly recommend David for anyone looking for a tutor that can make a genuine difference.
David has been tutoring our son in English for the past year, and we’ve honestly been so happy with him. He’s such a gentleman, very accommodating to our requests and incredibly reliable. He takes the time to get to know our son’s needs and where he might need more support. Our son particularly likes the fact that David makes his lessons interesting without them feeling like a chore. I would happily recommend him.
David is polite, courteous and dependable. I can definitely recommend him as a tutor.
