My method is to use flashcards for the sight words and it helps with reading. When reading with kids it is important to ask questions to see if they remember what they have read. When teaching grammar it is important to make sure the learner understands what the lesson is about. He/She must also participate in the lesson by asking questions if they do not understand, take notes so that theThere will be more Student Talking Time meaning they will do most of the talking during the lesson and I will intervene when they hit a speed bump.
