About Suneet
SFU BEd graduate with 4 years of teaching experience. I am an experienced and passionate educator with a strong background working with elementary and middle school students. I have experience teaching students in Grades 1-7 across a variety of subjects, including Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. As a teacher, I believe that every student learns differently, so I strive to create engaging, supportive, and personalized learning experiences that meet students where they are. I focus on making challenging concepts easier to understand by breaking them down into manageable steps and using real-world examples and hands-on activities. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to build their confidence, independence, and love of learning. I bring patience, encouragement, and a positive attitude to every lesson and work closely with students to help them reach their individual goals.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, supportive, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. I use clear explanations, step-by-step instruction, examples, practice activities, and questions to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorize them. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous learning, followed by an introduction to the new concept, guided practice, independent practice, and a short review or check for understanding. What sets me apart is my experience as an educator and my ability to adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. I offer tutoring for elementary and middle school students, particularly Grades 2–7, in subjects such as Mathematics, English/Literacy, Science, and Social Studies, with lessons tailored to individual needs, school curriculum, and academic goals.
