About Krista
I’m a committed tutor who combines professionalism with a friendly, down-to-earth teaching style. I believe that learning should be clear, structured, and also enjoyable, so I bring patience and humor to my lessons to help students relax and participate fully. I don’t rely on one rigid method—if something isn’t working, I adjust immediately and try another approach that aligns with your strengths. Students can count on me to be prepared, adaptable, and genuinely invested in their success.

I create lessons that meet you exactly where you are. In History, I help you understand the "why", not just memorise facts. For Beginner German, I focus on simple, engaging practice that makes the language feel approachable and fun. In Writing, I guide you through planning, clarity, and voice so your work feels strong and intentional.
I tailor each session to your goals, pace, and learning needs, and I strive to make learning low-stress and confidence-building. I’m conversational in French and have basic A1 understanding of both Mandarin and Spanish, which helps me support ESL learners whose first language is one of these. My priority is helping you feel capable, supported, and genuinely interested in the material.
