About Karyn
As a teacher, I have taught grades 6-12. I have taught English Language Arts, Health, Physical Education, Civics, Elementary Math, Science, Social Studies, and Literature. I am currently tutoring in the Elementary Math, Science, and Social Studies. I have taught online as well as in the classroom. I also have experience with SAT/ ACT preparation. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, a Master of Science in Public Health, and a Master of Arts in African History.

When I teach I prefer to demonstrate to students or coach students. I prefer to show students what they need to know with the use of multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations. I like the variety of formats I can use. It gives me the flexibility I need to convey concepts and lessons.
