About Raven
I have 21 years of EMS experience as an ALS provider. I have worked in the field on a truck, as an FTO, & now as a college instructor for EMS. I teach all levels of EMS provider, from EMT to Paramedic. I have a true passion for both EMS & teaching. I have one degree in Emergency Medical Science & am currently working to obtain another in EMS. I teach both National Registry standards and NC state standards of EMS provider education.
I have a rockstar twin sister who used to be a paramedic as well (she has since moved on to another profession). I have 1 dog, 3 birds, several fish, & am probably one of the biggest nerds you will ever meet (gaming, anime...). I believe that kindness and perseverance are the true keys to success & my purpose is to help others reach their goals.

I help to teach effective study/testing skills, as well as basic or advanced EMS knowledge, depending on the student's needs. I teach both BLS & ALS on a college level. I'm a certified instructor in PALS & ACLS. I have trained people from all over the world to become EMS providers, therefore, I am very comfortable with diversity. I am very adaptable to the student and the student's educational needs. I can prepare students for the NCOEMS state exam or the National Registry. My first lesson is free and untimed so that I can get to know you and what your goals/dreams are. This way I can help you achieve them.
