About Lingfeng
Hello, I’m Ling Feng, a passionate and patient Chinese teacher. I’m also an architect and a tour guide, and I teach Chinese online in my spare time. I love languages and cross-cultural communication, and I enjoy making friends from different cultural backgrounds. As a native Chinese speaker, I’m also proficient in English and Japanese, so I understand the challenges language learners face. I can fluently use English to assist in teaching. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and riding motorcycles. I like to bring everyday experiences into my teaching to help you encounter authentic Chinese in real-life contexts. If you find it hard to keep up with Chinese-only instruction, I can also use English to assist with teaching, so don’t worry. Don’t hesitate to book a trial lesson whenever you’re ready

Relaxed and practical: Classes include plenty of conversational practice and everyday expressions that you can use right away.
Well-structured: Lessons are organized and focus on balanced development in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Personalized: I select suitable materials based on your goals and customize learning plans according to your level.
Root-based approach: I explain word roots to help you better understand and distinguish similar-looking words, boosting your vocabulary efficiently.
If you want to improve your spoken Chinese, prepare for exams, or plan to study or live in China, I’d be happy to help.
