I have been a Language Arts teacher for 18 years and have excellent rapport with the students I work with. I am available for writing tutoring at all levels including college. For the reluctant writer I create a comfortable relationship that allows the student to find their voice in the essays they create. For the more polished student I am able to help them take their writing from good to excellent - providing effective feedback for the final touches. I have flexibility to meet in your home or other convenient location. Clients will benefit from an individual approach to tutoring that will increase their writing ability as well as be creative and fun. Writing with organization, solid content, transitions and voice will be the final product. Research based, persuasive, and creative writing are all areas that I am excellent at helping students master. Excellent references available.
