About Elise
My name is Elise and I am a recent college grad who moved across the country just after finishing my degree at DePauw in Indiana. I have loved and studied French for over 5 years now and have tutored for 2 years. I lived in Paris, France for the first half of 2023 and took classes in French, lived with a host family, and spoke with Francophones each day - even when I was travelling to other countries. I have worked with students at varying skill levels, some who had never spoken French before and some who just wanted help to really understand the passé composé. I enjoy tutoring very much and love spreading language so that others may find the rewarding connection of being bilingual like I have:)

I typically focus on grammar, vocabulary, spelling, pronunciation and skills up to the B2 language level, or whatever my student is looking for. I generally will find worksheets or lessons to guide a session, whether we are focusing on reading, writing, or tenses
