About Jacqui
My name is Jacqui.
I am an occupational therapist and a final stages PhD candidate (I have submitted and now just waiting for my examination!).
I have worked as a paediatric OT, sessional academic and research assistant.
My interest lies in exploring the social determinants of health and exposing the barriers faced by marginalised populations when accessing health services. I am passionate about research, academic writing and linking theory with practice.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with tertiary health students, and watching them develop into competent professionals.

My lessons are specifically structured around the students' academic and content need. In our first lesson I will talk to you about what you would like to achieve from our tutoring sessions and this will guide how our sessions are structured. Lessons will be online, typically 1 hour in length.
I have experience with reviewing and providing feedback on writing, teaching health specific theories and models and relating content to practice.

Perfect! Jacqui is a great communicator and is able to explain the exact changes you need to make when getting feedback for assignments.
