Teaching Sanskrit to school students up to class 10th for more than 19 years in Powai/Chandivali/Mumbai with a personalized approach!

I have always been averse to my daughter’s school PTMs for Hindi, simply because the feedback was rarely encouraging. It was usually along the lines of, “She really needs to try harder,” “She doesn’t understand the basics,” and so on. Getting her to read, let alone complete her homework, was a Herculean task—and more often than not, it ended in tears.

*And then came Bhawna.*

We completely entrusted our daughter’s Hindi tuition to Bhawna, without ever questioning or doubting her approach. It has been just about three months, but the difference we have seen is truly remarkable.

The first and most noticeable change was that our daughter was no longer tense about going to or coming back from class. Slowly, she started making an effort to read, write and even speak Hindi. What seemed like a constant struggle earlier began to feel a little easier.

This morning, I attended her first Hindi PTM of the new academic year, and for the first time, I walked out with the kind of feedback every parent hopes to hear. Her teacher said she is doing well in class and, more importantly, is genuinely making an effort to participate—whether by communicating in Hindi or by completing her work on time.

For us, this is not just about better marks or academics. It is about seeing our daughter become more confident, less anxious and willing to try.

I appreciate Bhawna's Hindi teaching style, and she has been working with our child for the past 2 months. She is flexible to the child's needs, which goes a long way to helping the child enjoy learning a language. We requested that she conduct immersive Hindi classes, where she speaks only in Hindi and reads to the child, allowing them to hear the pronunciation of the words. She helps the child read and pronounce Hindi correctly, which helps them build confidence and look forward to coming to class.

My son has been studying Hindi under her from last couple of months and I can see a lot of improvement in him in terms of writing and also understanding the language …. She is a very sweet and caring person, and she brings you material to study and to practise, she has her own metodh of teaching based on following differently chapters so she is not someone who randomly teach you stuff about her mothertongue, she has some structre and and teaches you well starting from basics and adding things little by little. I highly recomend her as she is an actual professional who has worked with many students.

It gives me pleasure to share my feedback about Bhawna Khullar and her teaching abilities to the wider group.

My son has been taking Hindi and Sanskrit classes for the last 12 months and must say that it has been an experience all in a positive way. My son has successfully got through with his primary standard in flying colours and all credit goes to Bhawna who has been giving an untiring attempt to bring him up to speed on these subjects that's tough for young kids.

She has been very patient and diligent with her teaching abilities that have truly transformed my son to learn Sanskrit easily. Given that boys are simply tough to manage and get them to study, she has been providing untiring support and perseverance. She is good with kids and explains her concepts very nicely. My 6 year old really liked to study hindi for 1.5 hours which otherwise she wouldn’t have if she didn’t like her.

My 8 year old son missed out on Hindi for more than one year as we were overseas.Bhawna has been very patient in explaining all the concepts and his basis and his overall hindi has drastically improved in a period of 3 mths.
