About Rutendo

I am a dynamic, energetic lady and am looking for a flexible, and fun position. I was born in Zimbabwe but have spent most of my adulthood in South Africa. My BSC (Honours) degree was attained in 1986 at the University of Zimbabwe. As a holder of Advanced TEFL 120 hour Certificate, a Teach English Online: Find students and start teaching certificate and a Skills Upgrade: Teach Business English (Language Teaching) certificate, I also have over 30 years experience in the corporate world where I was responsible for Training and Development to large classes and one-on-one.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is inquiry-based. It is a teaching method that sees me as a supportive person who provides guidance and support for my students throughout their learning process. I encourage students to ask questions and consider what they want to know about the world around them. My students can find information and sources that solve problems they may encounter along the way.
Inquiry-based learning falls under the student-cantered approach, in that my students play an active role in their own learning. Teacher facilitation is extremely key to this process.

I am looking for students who are at the intermediate level or higher who wish to learn and master Business English and children of all ages who need to learn English as a second language.
