About Emma
Hi, I’m Emma, a TEFL-qualified British English teacher from Leeds. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology, and I’m preparing to move to South Korea in 2027 to begin a full-time English teaching position.
I’m friendly, patient and encouraging, and I want students to feel comfortable speaking English without worrying about being perfect. I enjoy helping people build confidence and communicate more naturally, especially in everyday situations.
I’m passionate about language learning myself, so I understand how intimidating it can feel to speak a new language. My aim is to make lessons supportive, enjoyable and useful, while helping each student progress at their own pace.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and personalised around your goals. I can help with conversational English, British pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, grammar, speaking confidence and English for travel or daily life.
I aim to create a supportive environment where you can practise without feeling embarrassed about making mistakes. I can adapt lessons to your level, interests, and learning style, whether you prefer structured activities or more natural conversation practice.
I especially enjoy helping learners become more confident speaking English in real-life situations, rather than simply memorising rules from a textbook.

I have known Emma all her life. She has worked with children aged from 6 months to 22 years old. She has a lot of experience with specifically special needs children and young adults. She is qualified with a Level 5 diploma to teach English as a second language. She has a lot of patience and is quick to adapt her lessons if need be.
