About Elaine

I have been a classroom teacher for four years. Throughout these years I have taught a couple hundred students a range of subjects from history and geography to government and economics. Many of my students are now high school graduates, and a few have already graduated from universities.

About the lesson

I am a Texas state certified history and social studies teacher. I have a bachelor degree in History from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I have four years experience as a classroom teacher. I am seeking to instruct and/or tutor students in all areas of history and social studies, as well as in reading and writing.

Savanna

Elaine is a great teacher. She truly cares whether or not you understand a concept and will take the time to ensure that you do. She has such an approachable and kind personality, encourages question-asking, and challenges her students well. Her patience and knowledge base will lead anyone under her teaching better than when they began with her! I highly recommend Elaine and would absolutely have her as a teacher again!
