About M
I am an experienced Computer Science educator with over 17 years of teaching experience at both GCSE and A Level, across OCR, AQA, and CIE examination boards. Having taught both locally and internationally, I bring a deep understanding of diverse curricula and effective online teaching methodologies.
In addition to my teaching background, I have 9 years of experience marking CIE and OCR ICT and Computer Science papers, providing me with a detailed understanding of exam expectations, mark schemes, and how to help students achieve top grades.
As an advanced Python programmer, I combine strong technical expertise with proven teaching strategies to make complex programming and theory topics accessible and engaging. My goal is to help every student build confidence, master the curriculum, and achieve their highest potential in Computer Science.

I do not believe in a single, fixed teaching style. Every student and class learns differently, and I adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. My teaching is highly adaptable, enjoyable, and relatable, helping students work to the best of their abilities and build confidence in their learning.
I strive to create lessons that are engaging and interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and seek help whenever needed. I understand that not every concept will be grasped immediately, so I foster a classroom environment where it’s safe to make mistakes and learn from them.
To support continuous progress, I regularly assess students through tasks, quizzes, and exam-style questions—not simply to measure performance, but to identify strengths and areas for improvement. This approach enables me to track each student’s development and ensure a solid understanding of the subject. Ultimately, my goal is to help students achieve not only the results they aim for, but also a genuine appreciation and confidence in Computer Science.
