I am an English literature student at Durham university. I have taken 13+, gcses, A-level, and university entrance English and obtained top grades in all the above! I enjoy sport, art, photography, creative writing, and film. I am also DBS approved and have had safeguarding training.

I split my tutorials into two sections: content learning and exam technique. I find that a lot of exams require a demonstration of very specific techniques from students; this is where students tend to miss out on marks that they could otherwise easily obtain! However, I Taylor my teaching methodology to the individual student. During a first tutorial, I will discuss what the student themselves want to focus on and will adjust my teaching accordingly. To me, what is most important is that my students learn to share my passion for the English language. English should never feel intimidating, so my aim is to help others find the fun in the subject!
