About Helena(Nellie)

I am here to reassure you and help build confidence when you need it. I will push you to leave your comfort zone and try new things. I am not here to criticize you in a negative way or teach with a toxic mindset. I keep it real and I will be honest but in the end I am understanding, patient and respectful.

About the lesson

I teach with the style of patience, no judgement and the mentality to never give up even when you feel like it! I keep it real and I do no easy. My typical lesson plan starts with a warm up which begins with core work. Then I will ask what do you (the student) want to work on today and that may be technique, choreography etc.. My lessons are for any age or anyone who wants to start learning how to dance. I believe that there's no limit of what age you should start learning dance, and as every dance teacher says, "dance is not easy". It takes years and years to get to a higher level, but even then there is still room to improve your skills.
