About David

I approach tutoring with flexibility, creativity, and a deep respect for each student’s unique perspective. My background in education and content creation through The Educators Forge allows me to break down complex topics and present them in ways that are both engaging and easy to understand. Whether we're exploring the symbolism in mythology, debating ethical questions, analyzing news media, or building social-emotional skills, I use discussion-based learning, real-world examples, and tailored resources to make every session meaningful. I focus on critical thinking, clear communication, and student voice. My goal is to create a safe, thoughtful space where questions are welcome, ideas are explored, and learning feels empowering. I adapt my methods to fit your pace and interests, ensuring each session is both productive and enjoyable.

About the lesson

Each lesson is designed to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and build real-world skills. Whether we’re unpacking ancient myths, exploring ethical dilemmas, analyzing media, or practicing effective communication, I tailor every session to your interests, goals, and learning style.

Expect interactive discussions, critical thinking activities, and creative assignments that make big ideas feel personal and powerful. I use stories, current events, and engaging prompts to help students connect the dots between these subjects and their own lives.

Lessons can be one-on-one or small group, virtual or in-person (when available), and are perfect for middle school, high school, or lifelong learners looking to sharpen their thinking and communication skills.

Let’s dive deep into the humanities—and have fun while doing it!
