About Katie
I have been teaching elementary school for 10 years, currently teaching third grade in the Chicago suburbs. In addition to the classroom, I also have experience tutoring students during the summer and school year in both math and reading.
I am an organized and reliable tutor who is hoping to connect with families. I focus on building relationships with kids and using humor in my lessons to help them enjoy learning. I also work on confidence building and goal setting with my students.
I hope you will reach out to see if we may be a good fit - thank you!

Hello! I am a third grade teacher (and mom) looking to connect with families who may need support with their children's learning.
Do you have specific learning targets already in mind? I can tailor lessons and activities for your student's needs and interests.
Not sure what your student needs? I can start with a basic assessment in math and/or literacy to find and set goals for learning.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Perfect! Katie, is very patient and engaging with my 9 yr old daughter. My daughter enjoys going to her lessons with Katie. Only 3 lessons I can already see the difference.
