About Sara
Hello! I'm Sara, an English tutor, graduate and writer with a passion for language, literature and learning. I've been tutoring professionally since 2015, but I've always been a passionate reader and writer. I have a wealth of classroom and tutoring experience, a lifetime's worth of knowledge in English language and literature, and I am genuinely passionate about my subject and that's what makes the difference for my students.

I am so passionate about tutoring. With 10 years' experience, my teaching methods change depending on what each student might need. I cover different topics in lots of different ways to ensure each student fully understands what we are doing and is able to do it autonomously. Plus, I do try to make sure it’s as enjoyable as possible! I am a relaxed and positive person and I love helping people achieve their full potential. I have helped students raise their grades from a level 4 or 5 to a level 8 or 9 for GCSEs; have helped students gain entry into secondary schools including St Paul’s, Latymer, North London Collegiate, City of London and Harrow; and helped raise students' A Level predictions of Cs to results of As and Bs. GCSE English Lit and Lang is my speciality. Different exam boards require different approaches so I work with lots of past papers
